Well, the 2009 Tranny Awards ceremony was a huge success and if you missed it this year, you’ll definitely want to save the date for next year’s show! It was a decidedly happy event and all the girls left their egos at the door and were busy chatting up industry peeps, Fans and Admirers, and each other. We’ll have some more pictures from the event here in the near future but here’s a little picture of some of the winners and a couple of the performers.
Guys, I really cannot stress enough how important it is to get out there and support your local TG-friendly bars and hangouts. For the most part, they’re fun places and you’ll meet some really cool people there as well. We’re going to make more of an effort here to post some flyers from bars and hangouts that support the TG/TS community so please, keep checking back regularly for parties in your area. So, we’re a little behind the times on the subject of this post but a recent post by Sexxxy Jade in a Transsexual Message Board caught my eye so I did some digging… I guess that TS Seduction, which is a site that features an impressive list of Shemale Pornstars (Sexxxy Jade, TS Jesse, Yasmin Lee, etc.) dominating guys, does actual LIVE shows where users can interact with the girls as the scene is happening.

So this is an interesting development in the world of Shemale Pornstars…
It seems that TS Jesse has become the first, and as yet, only Transsexual Performer to sign with new Public Relations company, 3rd Gender Models. To be fair, it appears that 3rd Gender Models is a new agency and hasn’t had time to build up a proper portfolio as of yet. I suppose that signing TS Jesse is a good place to start though… they don’t come much bigger and better than her!
Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see how this new agency develops and if it can attract more Transsexual talent. I don’t know if such a thing has been tried before or not, but if it works, it’ll be nice to have a company who’s sole purpose is, ‘to bring the hottest most popular Performers in the Transgendered adult entertainment Industry together in one place…” At least the company seems to have done a little homework and uses the appropriate terms and capitals… that’s always a good sign that whoever is running the company seems to understand and respect the niche.
I’m always a little skeptical when it comes to things like this though, but I’m willing to give this 3rd Gender Models the benefit of the doubt for now. What I don’t see as a good sign is the lack of transparency for the company, with no stated ‘About Us’ page or company history on their website, which, in my opinion is rather dull for a company specializing in Public Relations. Additionally, the company seems to have sprouted out of nowhere… and I would consider myself to be pretty up-to-date on goings-on in the Transsexual community… especially as it relates to porn.
Anyway, just my two cents. TS Jesse is obviously an adult and fully capable of making her own decisions. We wish her the best in this new partnership with 3rd Gender Models and we hope that it is mutually beneficial to all parties involved. To all the other Shemale Pornstars, Transsexual Performers, and Up-And-Cummers out there, just make sure you’re doing your due diligence when you’re contacting companies like this. Read through all the paperwork carefully… hire a lawyer if you need to. There are several established Transsexual Message Boards that you can go to and check into companies and you’ll meet some surprisingly nice and honest people there. Inquire… ask questions… and don’t sign any dotted lines unless you truly understand what you’re signing!
EDIT March 4, 2010: According to TS Jesse herself, she has NOT signed an actual contract with 3rd Gender Models as we previously stated. She is working with the company in an undisclosed measure. We apologize to both parties for the confusion and our thanks to TS Jesse for clearing things up for us.
